The 37th Annual Texas Black Invitational Rodeo is set to take place this Saturday at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas. Organized by the Dallas African American Museum, the event will showcase a variety of rodeo competitions including bronc riding, bull riding, steer roping, and barrel racing.
In addition to the main rodeo events, attendees can enjoy activities designed for children, as well as concessions, trick roping demonstrations, and live music performances throughout the evening. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the rodeo scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The Texas Black Invitational Rodeo aims to celebrate and highlight the contributions of Black cowboys and rodeo athletes, fostering a community atmosphere at one of Dallas’s notable venues.
