Thame United secured progression to the next round with a 3-0 victory over Westbury in their recent fixture. The decisive win was largely shaped by Ed Daffern, who opened the scoring just before halftime and remained a persistent attacking force throughout the match.

Daffern’s goal came in the 40th minute when he cut in from the left flank and struck a powerful shot into the net. Prior to that, Thame appeared to have broken the deadlock through Jake Andrews, whose curling strike eluded Westbury goalkeeper James Callan. However, the goal was subsequently disallowed after officials determined that Callan had been fouled during the play.
