Filming for the new ITV quiz show spin-off, The Chase Around The World, involved some unexpected challenges for the show's presenters as they filmed across various international locations. The series, hosted by Bradley Walsh, features six pairs of contestants attempting to locate the six Chasers, who are hidden in different countries.

During the shoot, quiz master Shaun Wallace recounted an incident in Greece where he was asked to leave a taverna after a plate-smashing moment. Meanwhile, fellow Chaser Paul Sinha and Wallace found themselves unexpectedly entangled in a lively stag party in Lisbon, adding to the hectic atmosphere of the production.

Anne Hegerty, another Chaser on the show, described difficulties in maintaining the show's secrecy while filming on location. She noted that shooting scenes near prominent landmarks, such as a monument dedicated to Italian unification, made it challenging to avoid recognition. Many passing visitors, particularly British tourists, recognized the Chasers, which threatened to expose elements of the game.

The Chase Around The World continues the format of the popular quiz show by introducing a global element, with contestants navigating a series of challenges to find the Chasers across multiple countries. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 16 at 9 p.m. on ITV1 and will also be available on the ITVX streaming platform.
