The second season of the action-comedy series follows Eddie, played by Theo James, as he expands his inherited drug empire into the European market. In the first season, Eddie unexpectedly came into possession of a dukedom and a cannabis farm and established a partnership with a criminal gang led by Bobby, portrayed by Ray Winstone, who operates from a luxury prison.

The new episodes open with Eddie hosting a shooting party intended to impress Lord Hawthorne, a character portrayed by Hugh Bonneville. Eddie aims to secure a hereditary peerage through this alliance, strengthening his social standing. Subsequently, Eddie and Susie, played by Kaya Scodelario—who is also Bobby’s daughter—travel to a London auction where they purchase a Botticelli painting. This acquisition becomes a key element in their attempt to gain favor with a mafia boss in Italy, as they leverage the artwork to build new alliances.

The series continues to blend crime drama with comedic elements, emphasizing Eddie’s navigation of both noble society and the criminal underworld as he seeks to consolidate and grow his power across borders.
