A California man has been charged with making threatening communications to a Mississippi judge linked to the case of deceased teenager Nolan Wells. Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce faces charges of interstate transmission of a threatening communication after allegedly sending a series of threatening messages to Judge Ashlee Cole, who is the stepmother of one of Wells’ friends.

Authorities say Dumarce used the social media account “yaeyae962” to send Cole messages containing death threats, as well as threats to harm her children and to place bombs at her residence in Jackson County. One of the messages reportedly included a warning of “blood everywhere.”

If convicted, Dumarce could face up to five years in federal prison. The investigation into the threats is ongoing.

In a separate development, the father of Wells’ close friend has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for Wells’ unexplained death. The circumstances surrounding the teenager’s passing remain unclear, and authorities have not released further details about the case.
