Three activists have appeared in court charged with causing significant damage at a military technology firm in Hertfordshire. Rhae Rivers, 39, Eleni Allan Padilla, 20, and Maryam Mahmoud, 22, face allegations of criminal damage and burglary following an incident on July 9 at Ultra Intelligence and Communications in Tring.

During a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on August 28, prosecutor Nicholas Berry outlined the accusations against the defendants. The group is said to have forced entry by breaking through glass doors before damaging satellite dishes and electronic equipment inside the facility. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately £1.3 million.

The defendants are reportedly associated with Palestine Action, an activist group known for protests targeting companies linked to military and arms-related activities. No plea was entered, and a preliminary trial has been scheduled for April 2028 at Woolwich Crown Court.

The case highlights ongoing tensions surrounding activism directed at defense contractors in the United Kingdom. Authorities are continuing to investigate the nature and extent of the alleged offenses.
