The match, held at Castleford’s home ground, saw Warrington come from behind to claim the win and move up to fourth place in the league standings.

Castleford initially took control with three tries scored in an eight-minute span by Daejarn Asi, Tylor Sharpe—who marked his debut with a try—and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e. This sequence gave the hosts the advantage despite Warrington having opened the scoring through Adam Holroyd.

Warrington then capitalized on multiple defensive errors by Castleford to turn the game in their favor. A series of tries came from Matty Ashton, who crossed twice, as well as King, Toafofoa Sipley, James Harrison, Leon Hayes, and Ben Currie. Ewan Irwin was flawless with his kicking, converting all eight attempts, which helped extend the Wolves’ lead.
