Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to securing the signing of Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye in a deal valued at approximately £60 million. The potential acquisition comes as the London club looks to bolster its attacking options following a scoreless start to the Premier League season, with defeats to Brentford and Newcastle.

The £60 million fee for Ndiaye is expected to be partially offset by the transfer of Tottenham forward Richarlison back to Everton for around £35 million. If completed, this transaction would form part of Tottenham’s broader summer recruitment strategy, which has seen significant spending.

In addition to the Ndiaye deal, Tottenham have committed £60 million to acquire Omar Marmoush from Manchester City at the conclusion of his season-long loan spell. Taken together, these investments bring Spurs’ total outlay this summer to approximately £442 million, underlining the club’s ambition to strengthen its squad.

Tottenham reportedly turned their attention to Ndiaye after Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, another winger on their wishlist, appeared set to join Manchester City instead. The pursuit of Ndiaye reflects Spurs’ aim to enhance their attacking options following a sluggish start to the campaign.
