Sarr’s valuation stands at around £20 million, although Forest is reportedly considering an initial loan deal with an option to buy. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi acknowledged the situation, describing Sarr as a talented player while emphasizing that the final decision depends on developments in the coming days.
De Zerbi has expressed a clear desire to retain young midfielder Lucas Bergvall, who has attracted attention from Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United, the club Tottenham faces in their upcoming Premier League match.
The recent signing of winger Omar Marmoush has increased speculation over the future of striker Richarlison, who could be on the move himself. While reports have linked Richarlison with a return to Everton, a transfer to Saudi Arabia appears increasingly feasible. He is similarly valued at around £20 million. Additionally, Jamie Donley is set to leave on loan, joining Luton Town under the management of Jack Wilshere.

Key players such as Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert, and Dejan Kulusevski—out long-term—remain unavailable, while James Maddison is sidelined due to a fractured shoulder suffered in last Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Brentford. Injuries and delayed return from the World Cup have also affected squad availability, contributing to squad challenges.
