As a result of the campaign, authorities issued 50 traffic violation citations and administratively impounded 217 vehicles. The EPA also issued three citations related to environmental violations.

Officials emphasized that this initiative forms part of ongoing joint efforts by government agencies to strengthen regulatory oversight, improve public safety, and identify non-compliant operations within industrial zones. In conjunction with the Shuwaikh campaign, the General Traffic Department also conducted broader enforcement operations across various governorates, focusing on motorists’ failure to use warning signals. These efforts led to the issuance of 361 violation citations.

A security source encouraged drivers to adhere strictly to traffic laws to avoid penalties, noting that traffic enforcement operations are continuing throughout the country to promote road safety and regulatory compliance.
