KUWAIT CITY — The General Traffic Department at Kuwait’s Interior Ministry has intensified enforcement efforts across all governorates, resulting in the issuance of hundreds of citations within a 24-hour period.

Authorities reported that 313 drivers were cited for failing to use turn signals, a common traffic violation. In addition, traffic officers implemented wheel clamps on vehicles parked in unauthorized areas, which led to 84 citations being issued.

A security source emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and urged motorists to comply to enhance road safety. The department indicated that these campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic discipline and reduce violations throughout the country.
