A Philadelphia residential property has become the focus of an extensive homicide investigation after law enforcement officials uncovered a large collection of troubling evidence, including thousands of photos and videos. Some of the material reportedly depicts five women unconscious and possibly deceased. Despite these findings, no human remains have been discovered at the Olney neighborhood home as of mid-September.
The investigation involves multiple agencies, including the Philadelphia Police Department, the FBI, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. At the center of the probe is 44-year-old Eugene Horsch, who owns the property. The house was previously occupied by his late father, Raymond Horsch, a controversial figure in the adult entertainment industry who died in 2025.
The inquiry began in June following a traffic stop that led to Eugene Horsch’s arrest on drug and firearm charges. According to court documents, National Park Service police detained Horsch after observing his vehicle parked near Independence National Historical Park. While Horsch has not faced any charges related to the women featured in the seized media, some of the individuals captured in the evidence remain unidentified, and some have been reported missing for several years.
Authorities are currently attempting to locate physical forensic evidence that would establish a connection between the women and the residence as well as determine their status. Retired FBI special agent J.J. Klaver, who served in the bureau’s Philadelphia division, characterized the effort as highly challenging. “Finding physical proof to link these women to the home and confirming whether they are deceased is a daunting task for investigators,” Klaver noted.
The investigation, described by officials as “disturbing,” is expected to require a complex and thorough search process. Authorities have yet to release further details on the identities of the women or the circumstances surrounding their appearance in the evidence. For now, the case remains open as law enforcement continues to gather and analyze information.
