A super PAC aligned with former President Donald Trump is investing nearly $8 million in support of Republican challenger Mike LiPetri as he seeks to unseat Democratic Representative Tom Suozzi in New York’s 3rd Congressional District. According to multiple sources, the No Going Back PAC has purchased approximately $5.7 million worth of television advertisements over a three-week span targeting Suozzi. These ads accuse the incumbent of opposing efforts to ban congressional insider trading and highlight claims that Suozzi has made over $10 million trading stocks while serving in Washington.

No Going Back, an offshoot of the Trump-affiliated super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. (MAGA Inc.), is also spending roughly $2 million on direct mail campaigns aimed at voters in the district. New York’s 3rd Congressional District covers parts of Nassau County’s North Shore, as well as sections of Queens and Suffolk counties.

Representatives for Suozzi noted that total Republican spending on television ads against him approaches $8.5 million. This figure includes funds from the Congressional Leadership Fund, the House GOP political action committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee, and the LiPetri campaign itself.

Suozzi’s team has strongly contested the advertisements’ messaging. Kim Devlin, a senior adviser to Suozzi’s campaign, stated that the congressman “has not purchased a single stock since he returned to Congress in January of 2025.” The campaign called the ads “pointed” but did not directly address the allegations regarding Suozzi’s voting record on insider trading legislation.

The heightened spending and aggressive advertising reflect the intense competition for this suburban New York district, which has become a battleground in the broader struggle for control of the House of Representatives in the upcoming election cycle.
