TUI Group has unveiled a new budget travel brand, Sundeals, aimed at providing low-cost, no-frills holiday options to a range of destinations across Europe and beyond. The brand targets travelers seeking affordable breaks without additional complications, offering a variety of options including last-minute trips, all-inclusive package holidays, winter sun escapes, and adult-only vacations.

Through Sundeals, customers gain access to approximately 20,000 hotels and multiple flight providers, including Ryanair, easyJet, and TUI’s own airline services. Prices for some packages start from as low as £106 per person. For example, a seven-night bed-and-breakfast stay in Marrakesh, Morocco, including flights from Newcastle on August 27, is available from £157 per person.

The offering also extends to more distant locations such as Thailand, Mexico, Barbados, and the United States, broadening the appeal for travelers seeking destinations outside of Europe.

This initiative places TUI, the United Kingdom’s second-largest tour operator, in more direct competition with online travel agencies like LoveHolidays and OnTheBeach, which typically promote low headline prices but often require customers to add costs for checked luggage, seat selection, and other extras.

TUI’s traditional model bundles these extras into the headline price, making its offerings appear more expensive in comparison. However, Sundeals adopts the online agency pricing approach by separating these ancillary costs, enabling the group to present lower headline prices and be more competitive in the budget travel market.

Bookings and further information are available through the Sundeals website.
