KUALA LUMPUR — Techna-X Bhd announced the immediate resignation of its deputy chairman and executive director, Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar, citing personal commitments as the reason for her departure. The notice was filed with Bursa Malaysia on Monday.

Tunku Kamariah, 70, who is a member of the Johor royal family, had been appointed to the dual leadership role just four days earlier, on September 10. In addition to her position at Techna-X, she serves as patron of PS The Children, a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting sexually abused children in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and is an ambassador for the Asian Liver Centre at Stanford University in the United States.

In the same filing, Techna-X also revealed the resignation of independent and non-executive director Tengku Shahrain Shah Tengku Sulaiman Shah, who similarly stepped down due to personal reasons.

Techna-X, a diversified technology group based in Malaysia, has not provided further details regarding the resignations or the potential impact on its corporate governance and strategic direction. The company is expected to manage the leadership changes while continuing its operations amid these developments.
