Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick, widely known as the "Supervet" for his pioneering work in veterinary surgery, has launched a new pay-per-view platform designed to offer pet lovers greater access to his projects and expertise. The Irish-born TV veterinarian, 58, unveiled the Noel Fitzpatrick Fan Pass, a digital subscription service that provides a range of content including monthly live Q&A sessions, exclusive updates, and early access to his television projects.
Fitzpatrick, who has built a large following through his Channel 4 series that focuses on advanced veterinary treatments, emphasized that his platform aims to extend his educational outreach to a broader audience. The free tier of the Fan Pass includes interactive sessions where subscribers can engage directly with Fitzpatrick, while paid options offer further insights into his work, including access to upcoming shows like Supervet Live and Supervet ER. The new platform will also feature a podcast titled "Where Shall We Go Next?" with initial guests from the British soap opera EastEnders.
Known both for his innovative surgical techniques and his candid approach to pet care, Fitzpatrick treats clients from a wide spectrum, including high-profile figures such as former footballer Frank Lampard and his family. Recently, he helped care for Lampard’s Havanese dog following a spinal injury, describing the recovery as positive. Despite his celebrity clientele, Fitzpatrick stressed that the majority of his 190-strong practice’s patients come from the general public, and all receive equal care regardless of their status.
The Supervet has long held a distinctive position in the veterinary field, combining scientific advances with a compassionate view of the human-animal bond. He recounted numerous stories illustrating how pets influence their owners’ relationships, sometimes acting as both a source of connection and conflict. Fitzpatrick also shared his reflections on the importance of pets in people’s lives, emphasizing the emotional support they often provide during difficult times.
Fitzpatrick’s public profile has at times extended beyond veterinary circles. He acknowledged the persistent intrigue around his past relationship with singer-songwriter Cathy Dennis, who is credited with writing hit songs such as Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” and Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” He regards this association as incidental but notes that it does little to deter his focus on his professional mission.
Outside of his veterinary work, Fitzpatrick has developed a close friendship with Queen guitarist Brian May, who has influenced him personally through music. Fitzpatrick described how May encouraged him to reconnect with his playful side and shared anecdotes about their late-night conversations in Surrey.
Looking ahead, Fitzpatrick expressed a deep sense of fulfillment in launching the Fan Pass, calling it a "physical portal" to share his knowledge and passion. He reflected on his career, beginning with the loss of his first patient at age ten, and framed the new platform as a milestone in his ongoing effort to make every moment with animals count.
