Four males, including two teenage boys, were injured in a shooting at a Harlem playground early Sunday morning, according to police. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. at the Brigadier General Charles Young Playground, located near West 143rd Street and Lenox Boulevard.

Authorities reported that the victims included a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, both of whom sustained gunshot wounds to their left feet. Two young men, aged 20 and 21, were also injured in the shooting, with the 20-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to the groin and the 21-year-old to his right leg.

Emergency medical personnel transported all four individuals to Harlem Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition. As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting.

Later that morning, a tow truck driver preparing to remove a double-parked van on West 143rd Street was alerted to a bullet hole in the vehicle’s windshield by a bystander. The driver had initially not noticed the damage and decided to leave the van in place after being informed of the bullet impact.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No further details about suspects or motives have been released at this time.
