Two people were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Ghazni province, eastern Afghanistan, on Thursday night, according to provincial police spokesman Khalid Sarhadi. The authorities attributed the incident to reckless driving. Among the injured, several are reported to be in critical condition and have been transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

This latest accident follows a similar incident earlier in the week in Badghis province, western Afghanistan, where one person died and nine others were hurt. Road safety concerns remain a significant issue in the region, as authorities continue efforts to address traffic-related incidents.
