Two Palestinians were killed and 29 others injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, which provided an update on Wednesday. One of the fatalities occurred recently, while the other died from earlier injuries. The ministry reported that additional individuals remain trapped beneath debris or are deceased in areas inaccessible to Palestinian Civil Defence teams.

Since the ceasefire was implemented, the Health Ministry has documented a total of 1,209 deaths and 3,943 injuries in Gaza. It also reported that 803 bodies have been recovered from rubble during this period. The ministry cited cumulative figures of 73,335 Palestinians killed and 174,052 wounded since the outbreak of the conflict with Israel in October 2023.

In a related development, an Israeli military court rejected four petitions aimed at stopping the demolition of a secondary girls' school and three homes in Masafer Yatta, located south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank. The petitions challenged a military order authorizing the demolitions. The court’s decision removes legal barriers, allowing Israeli forces to proceed with the demolitions at their discretion. The girls' school has faced the threat of demolition since 2016.
