Two separate car crashes involving teenagers resulted in three deaths over the weekend in England.
The first incident occurred on Saturday evening in Acocks Green, Birmingham, where a 16-year-old male passenger was killed after the Seat Ibiza he was in collided with railings. Another individual was injured in the crash. The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to provide a breath sample.
The second crash took place the following morning at approximately 10:15 a.m. in the village of Little Stonham, Suffolk. The collision involved two cars: a red Peugeot 107 and a silver Volkswagen Passat. Suffolk Constabulary reported that the passenger in the Peugeot, a man in his late teens, died at the scene. The driver of the same vehicle, a woman of a similar age, was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. Occupants of the Volkswagen Passat sustained minor injuries.
Emergency services, including fire crews and an air ambulance, attended both incidents. Police authorities have issued appeals for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage related to either crash to come forward to assist with ongoing investigations. The circumstances and causes of both collisions remain under review.
