KUWAIT CITY — The General Traffic Department has closed two lanes on King Fahad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Road for maintenance work. The slow and middle lanes opposite Jabriya, heading toward Kuwait City, along with the side exit ramp to the Fourth Ring Road in the same direction, have been shut down starting Saturday, August 29. These closures are expected to remain in effect until Sunday, September 13.
In addition, the Ministry of Public Works, in collaboration with the General Traffic Department, has closed the Al-Siddiq exit on Ibrahim Al-Muzain Street (Route 404) toward Khaitan. This closure began at midnight on Friday, August 28, and will continue until midnight on Sunday, August 30. The work involves maintenance on the frontage road in that area.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the periods of closure to minimize disruptions. Both authorities have indicated that the measures are temporary and necessary to improve road safety and infrastructure.
