Amid rising tensions in the region, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty engaged in separate phone discussions with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. According to a statement from Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conversations on Saturday focused on advancing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the crisis and avoid further deterioration in regional security.
During the talks, Abdel-Aty called for an immediate cessation of military activities and escalatory measures, urging all parties to prioritize political and diplomatic channels.
