Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, has underscored the enduring strength of ties between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their shared history and common destiny. Speaking in a recent post on the social media platform X, Sheikh Abdulla highlighted that the relationship is continually reinforced by the wise leadership in both countries, whose coordinated efforts and strategic vision aim to advance the interests of their citizens and the broader region.

He also called on the media to responsibly represent this bilateral partnership, warning against any attempts to mischaracterize or undermine it. Sheikh Abdulla’s remarks came shortly after Turki Al Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, posted a photograph of Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman alongside Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emirati Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Al Sheikh described the relationship between the two nations as one built on “brotherly relations and a deeply-rooted partnership.”

Adding to the conversation, Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, commented on the photograph, describing it as “the biggest story in the Gulf” captured in a single image. He shared a verse emphasizing the importance of unity over division, suggesting that strength emerges from standing together, while separation leads to vulnerability. These statements reflect the ongoing efforts to highlight and solidify the cooperative dynamic that the UAE and Saudi Arabia maintain within a complex regional landscape.
