Uber has been named the official ride-hailing partner for Qiddiya City’s Six Flags and Aquarabia theme parks, following a newly announced collaboration aimed at enhancing visitor mobility. The partnership designates Uber as the exclusive ride-hailing provider for pickups and drop-offs from designated areas within both parks, offering visitors convenient and reliable transportation options.
Since the openings of Six Flags and Aquarabia at Qiddiya City, Uber has played a role in supporting the parks with customized mobility solutions tailored to the destination’s developing needs. The arrangement now formalizes Uber’s role in facilitating access to these attractions, which form part of Saudi Arabia’s broader push to develop its tourism and entertainment sectors.
Youssef Abouseif, general manager of Uber Saudi Arabia, highlighted the significance of improved mobility in enhancing visitor experiences as entertainment and tourism offerings evolve in the Kingdom. He noted that the partnership aligns with Uber’s "Rihla" initiative, which underlines the company’s commitment to advancing transportation solutions within the context of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. "We’re excited to work with these unique theme parks to build a reliable, high-quality mobility experience that can grow alongside the destination," Abouseif said.
Brian Machamer, park president of Six Flags and Aquarabia Qiddiya City, emphasized the importance of a seamless guest experience, beginning well before visitors arrive at the parks themselves. The collaboration with Uber is expected to streamline travel logistics for visitors and reinforce the parks’ dedication to delivering a world-class experience at every stage of a guest’s visit. "We are pleased to welcome Uber as our official ride-hailing partner and look forward to working together to provide guests with a convenient and seamless way to get to and from our theme parks," Machamer added.
Qiddiya City, part of the Kingdom’s expanding entertainment landscape, aims to attract both local and international visitors as Saudi Arabia continues to diversify its economy away from oil dependence. The partnership between Uber and the theme parks is one element supporting greater accessibility and convenience, key factors in the destination’s overall appeal.
