UNITED Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands in Qatar, has launched Astroverse, a family-oriented entertainment activation as part of Visit Qatar’s Hala Summer campaign. The event is currently taking place at Crystal Walk on Gewan Island and is set to run until September 30, 2026.
Astroverse offers an interactive experience designed to engage families through a variety of games, activity corners, live entertainment, and appearances by popular Astroverse characters. The activation transforms the outdoor space into a climate-controlled venue, providing a comfortable environment for visitors during the summer months.
The activation operates daily, opening from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and extending until 11:00 p.m. on weekends. It aims to encourage visitors to explore the retail and leisure options available on Gewan Island while enjoying the family-focused activities. To further incentivize participation, customers who spend QR100 or more at participating outlets gain free access to the activity zones, can join various games, and become eligible to win vouchers sponsored by participating retailers.
Through this initiative, UDC seeks to boost the overall visitor experience across The Pearl and Gewan Islands by supporting family-friendly events and encouraging retail engagement. The company’s efforts align with its strategic goal to position these areas as premier lifestyle, retail, and leisure destinations in Qatar, enhancing the summer atmosphere for residents, shoppers, and tourists alike.
