United Development Company (UDC), the master developer behind The Pearl Island and Gewan Island, is set to participate in Cityscape Qatar 2026, scheduled for October 27 to 29 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). The company plans to showcase its established residential portfolio alongside the next stage of its development strategy.
At Stand H3.A10, visitors will be able to explore UDC’s existing residential properties across The Pearl Island and Gewan Island, including a special limited-time sales offer on apartments at Crystal Residence. This development includes one- to four-bedroom units located on Gewan Island.
A key highlight of UDC’s presence will be the unveiling of a new residential project on The Pearl Island. The reveal, planned for the opening day of the event, will feature the project’s masterplan, architectural vision, and residential offerings. According to UDC president and CEO Yasser Salah al-Jaidah, the new development underscores the company’s shift from focusing on individual projects to adopting a broader destination strategy aimed at responding to evolving market demands.
“We are no longer looking at development simply in terms of individual projects,” al-Jaidah said, emphasizing the company’s approach to how destinations mature and how it seeks to create relevant living opportunities within established communities. He pointed out that The Pearl Island serves as a successful example of this strategy, while Gewan Island represents the next generation of UDC’s destination development plans.
The new residential development is designed to offer greater space, enhanced privacy, and family-oriented living options, catering to diverse buyer requirements. Earlier this year, UDC introduced two ownership models for the Crystal Residence apartments: a six-year payment plan with a 7.7% down payment and no interest, and a seven-year lease-to-own program with a 2% buy-in fee. At Cityscape Qatar 2026, the company will announce a limited-time offer on the six-year payment plan to boost sales momentum and increase the development’s attractiveness.
Throughout the event, UDC will host both scheduled and walk-in consultations for prospective homebuyers and investors, as well as broker briefings, media sessions, and stakeholder engagements. These discussions will not only focus on individual properties but will also address broader factors influencing residential decisions, including location, lifestyle, community infrastructure, ownership frameworks, and long-term value.
UDC’s participation at Cityscape Qatar 2026 will offer attendees direct access to the development teams, providing insights into the company’s sustained commitment to destination development and creating long-term value within Qatar’s real estate market.
