Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior held the graduation ceremony for the 96th class of police officers on Wednesday, marking the completion of training for 268 new recruits. The graduates underwent a comprehensive program combining academic study and practical exercises aimed at preparing them for active duty, including security protocols and field operations.

Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, addressed the ceremony, emphasizing the critical role the new officers will play in maintaining law and order. He urged the graduates to uphold legal standards, exercise discipline, and take full responsibility in their roles. Al-Wuhaib also called on the officers to dedicate themselves to serving the nation, ensuring the safety of both citizens and residents.

The event included the recognition of outstanding students, with certificates awarded to all graduates to acknowledge their successful completion of the rigorous training. The ceremony highlighted the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its security apparatus by integrating trained personnel into its ranks.

Senior officials present at the ceremony included Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, Assistant Undersecretary for Supporting Security Services; Brigadier General Khalid Al-Humaidi, Head of the Education and Training Sector; Brigadier General Dakheel Al-Dakheel, Head of the Special Security Forces and Correctional Institutions Sector; and Brigadier General Osama Al-Shammari, Director General of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences. Their attendance underlined the significance of the occasion within the broader framework of Kuwait’s security and law enforcement institutions.
