Manchester United have identified Crysencio Summerville as a potential target if Marcus Rashford departs this summer, with the club reportedly valuing the West Ham winger at around £30 million. The Dutch player, 24, fits the profile United are seeking for a left-sided forward to replace Rashford.

West Ham, recently relegated to the Championship, are open to offers for Summerville provided they receive a fee deemed appropriate. The former Netherlands international, who featured in the World Cup squad, has three years remaining on his contract.

Rashford's future at United remains uncertain following a series of tensions that resulted in loan spells at Aston Villa for six months in early 2025 and then a full season at Barcelona. Despite these developments, an uneasy truce between the player and the club suggests Rashford is expected to begin the upcoming season at Old Trafford.

The England forward is still under contract, earning approximately £17.5 million annually with two years left on his deal. Nevertheless, United prefer to move him on either through a transfer or a loan arrangement. The challenge lies in identifying a club willing and able to meet his financial demands.

In addition to their search for a replacement on the left wing, Manchester United have recently bolstered their midfield ranks with the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, costing the club an initial combined outlay of £82 million. The club remains keen to secure a third midfielder.

Among the midfield targets are Roma's Manu Koné, Bournemouth's Alex Scott, and Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga. However, the asking prices for these players, reportedly ranging between £60 million and £80 million, make any imminent deals unlikely. Michael Carrick, involved in United’s recruitment, continues to monitor these options as the club seeks to strengthen its squad for the season ahead.
