The video, recorded in May 2024, was reportedly shared with Carrot Top’s then-legal team and has gained attention following the comedian’s suicide attempt last week.

In the 90-second clip obtained by news outlets, Evans speaks directly to Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson. Evans references his own extensive experience with legal battles, stating he had spent 12 years engaged in a prior dispute and was prepared to continue the fight. “At some points, things are no longer about settling, OK?” Evans says in the recording. He adds, “So this is all up to you, all of you. You’re on the wrong side of this... But if this is the way you want it, this is the way it’ll be.”

Although the video does not explicitly demand money, authorities and court documents filed in early September suggest that Evans sought substantial financial compensation while threatening to publicize damaging material relating to Carrot Top. A police report dated September 3 details these allegations.
