The University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Musannah has inaugurated its “Al Batinah South Summer 2026” programme, which runs until July 9. The initiative, themed “Creativity – Connection – Impact,” is organised by the university’s Department of Continuing Education and Community Service in partnership with the Office of the Governor of Al Batinah South, along with several government bodies and community organisations.

Designed to engage a broad audience including school and university students, employees, job seekers, and members of the local community, the programme offers more than 35 free workshops. These sessions span eight key areas: technology and artificial intelligence, English language, engineering, arts and design, entrepreneurship, scientific research, health, and Islamic studies.

The programme aims to foster skills development, innovation, and community engagement throughout the Al Batinah South region. By providing diverse educational opportunities, organisers hope to enhance participants' professional and personal growth across multiple disciplines. The collaboration among academic, governmental, and community partners underscores a shared commitment to supporting lifelong learning and regional development.
