Kaizad, a six-year-old gelding by Capitalist from Baby Corn (Ms C Rode), is preparing to make his third start under trainer P’Money’s care at Warwick Farm. The veteran racehorse has competed 15 times, securing two wins, one second, and one third, with a career rating of 73. He has demonstrated versatility across various track conditions, including firm, good, soft, and heavy ground.

Most of Kaizad’s recent outings have been at Grafton, where he faced strong fields but struggled to finish closer to the leaders. On July 5, he placed 13th in a 1,190-meter open race, running over soft ground with a time of 1:08.68. Despite encountering interference at the start and wide positioning through the race, he was unable to mount a challenge in the closing stages. Seven days later, Kaizad contested a 1,610-meter race on good ground, finishing 10th, some 11.8 lengths off the winner. He again encountered difficulties at the start, including interference and pulling hard in the early stages.

Following these performances, Kaizad was freshened and transferred to a new stable and region. His form suggests he is yet to prove himself on wet tracks, and his recent races indicate he may find it challenging to be competitive at higher-quality levels in his upcoming assignment. Despite this, experience and adaptability remain points in Kaizad’s favor as he seeks improved results at Warwick Farm.
