Established seven years ago, Chapter Zero works to embed energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives at the board level of major publicly traded companies in Britain.

The organisation reports a membership exceeding 3,500 individuals, many of whom hold directorships on boards representing over half of the FTSE 100 companies. This broad representation positions Chapter Zero as a key advocate for integrating environmental considerations into corporate decision-making processes.

In July, Chapter Zero expanded its reach by entering into a partnership with Euronext, a European trading platform that operates multiple stock exchanges across the continent. The collaboration aims to facilitate climate education and support the implementation of sustainability strategies among public companies throughout Europe, reflecting a growing emphasis on environmental responsibility in the corporate sector.
