Victoria and Sir David Beckham were spotted on their superyacht Seven in the South of France, continuing their fitness routine and enjoying a vacation amid a highly publicized family rift. The couple, known for working out together daily, were seen cooling off in St. Tropez just days after their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, was in the same area with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and close family friends.
Brooklyn, who resides in Los Angeles with Nicola, shared a photo online featuring himself alongside pop icon Sir Elton John, Elton’s husband David Furnish, and their sons Elijah and Zachary. The group was reportedly spending time together in St. Tropez shortly before Victoria and David arrived. Sources describe Elton John, who is Brooklyn’s godfather, as acting as a neutral figure and emphasizing his role as a spiritual advisor to the couple. According to those close to the singer, he remains supportive of Brooklyn and Nicola without taking sides in the ongoing family dispute.
The family tensions have been ongoing for several months, with Brooklyn severing contact with his parents at the end of last year. The discord culminated in a strongly worded online message in January, in which Brooklyn stated he no longer wished to maintain a relationship with them. Since then, communication between the Beckhams and their eldest son appears to have been limited to legal channels, as reported by insiders. Brooklyn has also reportedly blocked his family members on social media.
During their recent holiday, Victoria and David appeared relaxed but maintained a low profile. Victoria was seen in a black bikini and sunglasses as she sunbathed on the yacht’s deck, while Sir David cooled down after swimming. They were accompanied by their middle son, Romeo Beckham, and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
The Beckhams’ presence in St. Tropez, close to where Brooklyn and Nicola had stayed just 48 hours earlier, highlights the divided nature of their current family dynamics. Despite the estrangement, Brooklyn continues to maintain a close relationship with Elton John, who remains publicly neutral but supportive amidst the ongoing dispute.
