Victoria Beckham is set to broaden her brand’s product range by entering the homeware market, according to recent trademark filings submitted in the United Kingdom and the United States. The 52-year-old fashion designer and former Spice Girl has applied to register a variety of household items under her name, including silverware such as knives, forks, and spoons, as well as bowls, glasses, mugs, vegetable slicers, cake domes, flower vases, pots, furniture, and cushions.

This expansion marks a notable diversification for Victoria Beckham Ltd, which currently operates primarily in the apparel and cosmetics sectors. The move follows organizational changes within the company, including the departure of Ralph Toledano, 74, who resigned as a director earlier this year. Toledano, a French businessman well-regarded for revitalizing luxury brands, had been appointed in 2018 to oversee the restructuring of Victoria Beckham Ltd with the goal of establishing it as a “modern luxury group.”

Under Toledano’s tenure, the company saw significant revenue growth, with sales increasing by 52 percent to reach £89 million in 2024. Despite this rise in revenue, the company’s net losses also expanded to £5 million, reflecting ongoing challenges in achieving sustained profitability. Industry observers have noted Toledano’s expertise in repositioning brands to appeal to contemporary consumers, a capability credited with strengthening Victoria Beckham’s business model during his leadership.

The application to trademark various homeware products suggests a strategic attempt to capitalize on the designer’s established reputation while tapping into new market segments. Expanding into household goods could provide additional revenue streams and elevate the brand’s presence beyond fashion and beauty, although the impact on the company’s financial performance remains to be seen.

Victoria Beckham Ltd has thus far remained focused on high-end fashion and makeup lines, catering to a luxury market. The introduction of homeware products bearing the Victoria Beckham name could signal a broader lifestyle brand vision. The company has not publicly commented on the trademark applications or detailed plans for the launch and distribution of these new items.
