Two teenagers and two men have been charged with attempted murder following violent incidents during Arsenal’s Premier League victory parade in North London. The Metropolitan Police reported that 29 people were arrested in connection with disturbances that took place on May 31 in Islington.
Authorities said the unrest included multiple stabbings. In addition to the four individuals charged with attempted murder, eight others face charges related to grievous bodily harm, sexual assault, and assault on an emergency worker.
The police have released images of additional persons of interest and have appealed for witnesses to come forward to assist with their ongoing investigations. Officers continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the violence amid efforts to maintain public safety during large-scale events.
