Visit Qatar wrapped up its participation at IMEX Frankfurt 2026, a major global trade show for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. The event, held recently in Frankfurt, provided a platform for Visit Qatar to engage with key international event organizers and industry leaders, with the goal of strengthening Qatar’s standing as a premier destination for business events worldwide.
Throughout the exhibition, the delegation from Visit Qatar emphasized the country’s robust tourism and events infrastructure. This includes more than 41,000 hotel rooms and over 15 significant event venues, notably the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) and the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). These facilities are integral to Qatar’s capacity to host large-scale international conferences and exhibitions.
Visit Qatar also highlighted its recent successes in attracting global business events. The country has secured multiple international bids for hosting major conferences in 2025, with events confirmed for 2026 and 2027 as well. These developments underscore increasing global confidence in Qatar’s ability to deliver well-organized and logistically sound events.
The participation at IMEX Frankfurt reflects Qatar’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a key player in the MICE sector, leveraging its strategic location, infrastructure, and experience to capture a larger share of the international events market.
