As the Singapore Grand Prix approaches, Visit Qatar will present The Garden Souq by Visit Qatar at Raffles Hotel Singapore from October 7 to 9, offering a cultural showcase coinciding with race week activities. The event aims to introduce attendees to Qatari traditions, cuisine, and craftsmanship through an open-air setting on the hotel’s lawn.

This activation is part of Visit Qatar’s collaboration with the Audi Revival F1 Team, designed to engage both local residents and international visitors attending the race. The Garden Souq combines elements of a traditional marketplace with contemporary experiences to present Qatar’s heritage in an accessible and interactive format.

Visitors can explore several themed stations during the event. At The Majlis, guests are invited to sample traditional Arabic coffee and dates while enjoying live oud music. The Flavours of Qatar station highlights local culinary offerings, providing a taste of the nation’s diverse food culture. The Artisan’s Workshop allows participants to personalise leather charms, and The Doha Stamp gives guests the opportunity to customise caps using patches inspired by Qatari motifs. Additionally, the Scents of Qatar section offers a bespoke perfume blending experience.

The initiative reflects Visit Qatar’s broader strategy to enhance the country’s tourism profile by leveraging global sporting events as platforms to showcase cultural identity and connect with new audiences. The Garden Souq will be open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with free admission for all visitors during the three-day period.
