A father of two from Islington, North London, has admitted to multiple charges of voyeurism after being caught filming women inside their homes at night. Anthony Durkan, 36, pleaded guilty to 19 counts of voyeurism at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. These charges were in addition to seven others to which he had previously pled guilty in March.
Authorities released footage from Durkan’s arrest on March 25, showing him dressed entirely in black as he approached a residential property late at night. The video captures him extending his phone past a window railing to record inside the home. Following his arrest, police discovered a file containing 162 videos and 99 images on his phone, predominantly depicting females who were unaware they were being filmed.
The Metropolitan Police have appealed for further information, urging women in Islington and North London who may have observed suspicious activity around their homes between January 2020 and March 2026 to come forward. Durkan has been released on conditional bail and will be sentenced at a later date.
