Historically, the public involvement of the Prince of Wales has been closely watched. In earlier years, William faced criticism from some royal aides regarding his dedication to official events, a perception many have since regarded as exaggerated. With fewer members of the royal family actively undertaking public duties, scrutiny of William and Kate’s roles has intensified.
