Wallan Trading Company, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in central and northern Saudi Arabia, has introduced the new Hyundai Venue compact crossover to the Kingdom's automotive market. The launch event took place on August 22 at the InterContinental Durrat Al-Riyadh Resort and was attended by company officials, customers, and Hyundai enthusiasts.
The new Venue expands Hyundai’s lineup in Saudi Arabia, targeting consumers seeking a versatile vehicle suited to various lifestyles and driving conditions. Offered in multiple trims and configurations, the model features a contemporary design combined with a broad array of comfort, connectivity, and convenience technologies, all while maintaining Hyundai’s modern design language.
Fahad Al-Wallan, chairman of Wallan Holding Company, emphasized the significance of this launch for the company’s ongoing partnership with Hyundai. He noted that introducing the Venue aligns with their goal of meeting customer expectations and supporting the rapid development of the Kingdom’s automotive sector. Al-Wallan highlighted the company’s broader vision of delivering not just vehicles but a comprehensive ownership experience, prioritizing customer service from purchase to after-sales support.
The Hyundai Venue is equipped with a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection (T-GDI) engine that produces 120 horsepower and 175 newton-meters of torque. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive, designed to provide a responsive and efficient driving experience tailored to urban mobility.
Technological and convenience features vary across different trims but include a 12.3-inch navigation and infotainment display, smart key with remote start, cruise control, selectable drive modes, and an electric sunroof. The vehicle’s exterior showcases a bold and contemporary styling, including dual front LED daytime running lights and LED rear lamps for distinctive road presence. The interior is designed for comfort and functionality, offering leatherette seating, electronic climate control, wireless smartphone charging, and a spacious cabin adaptable to diverse needs.
