The victory was sealed when a lapse in South Liverpool’s defense allowed Jack Goodwin to intercept a clearance from goalkeeper Mateusz Hewelt and slot home the third goal. Warrington’s late surge ensured their place in the next round of the competition and marked a significant achievement for the club.
