Watford Football Club have secured the signing of goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia from Bologna in a deal reported to be worth up to £6.8 million. The 26-year-old has committed to a six-year contract with the English club.
Ravaglia, who has made over 50 appearances for Bologna across all competitions, brings experience from playing in both of Italy’s top divisions as well as in European tournaments. His arrival is expected to bolster Watford’s squad with seasoned talent and leadership.
Gian Luca Nani, Watford’s group technical director, highlighted Ravaglia’s technical skills and leadership qualities, noting his ability to organise the defence and contribute to the team both on and off the field. The signing underscores Watford’s intention to strengthen their goalkeeping options ahead of the upcoming season.
