Residents across the United Arab Emirates can anticipate generally stable weather over the weekend, with the possibility of isolated showers in some regions, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Temperatures will remain warm, accompanied by increasing humidity levels during nighttime hours.

Daytime temperatures in coastal cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to range between 36°C and 39°C, while interior areas may experience highs of 40°C to 42°C. Nighttime lows will provide some relief, hovering around 25°C to 28°C near the coast, and dropping to approximately 20°C to 23°C in mountainous locations.

From Friday through Sunday, skies will generally be fair to partly cloudy. However, convective cloud formation is anticipated to intensify throughout the weekend, particularly by Saturday, when tall cumuliform clouds capable of producing brief showers are likely to develop. This convective cloud activity is expected to expand on Sunday, mainly affecting eastern and southern parts of the country. Any rainfall will likely be light to moderate and short-lived, predominantly occurring in the afternoon hours.

In addition to isolated rain showers, convective clouds may bring brief gusts of wind and occasional thunder, prompting residents in affected areas to monitor weather updates closely.

Humidity is forecast to increase significantly at night, peaking in the early morning hours. This rise in moisture will make overnight and early morning conditions feel notably muggy, especially in coastal zones where the air may feel heavier than temperature readings alone would indicate.

On the maritime front, winds are expected to remain light to moderate throughout the weekend, generally between 10 and 20 kilometers per hour, with occasional gusts up to 30 kilometers per hour. Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to stay calm, characterized by slight waves, creating favorable conditions for boating and beach activities.
