Weyay, Kuwait’s first digital bank, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Secretariat General of the Private Universities Council (PUC) to support the “Create Your Future” campaign, an initiative designed to assist students in exploring educational and career options aligned with their interests and the evolving job market. The partnership aims to guide students toward academic pathways that enhance their future prospects.
The collaboration was formalized in a meeting attended by key figures including Dr Jassim Al Ali, Secretary-General of the Council of Private Universities; Fahad Al Khalifa, Director at the General Secretariat of Private Universities Council; Amal Al-Duwaisan, Head of Weyay; Mohammad Al-Wazzan, Assistant Vice President – Sales Force at the National Bank of Kuwait; and Salem Al-Rasheedi, Sales Senior Officer. During the discussions, both parties outlined plans to cooperate on awareness campaigns, educational programs, and interactive activities targeting students and their families.
The initiatives seek to improve awareness about available academic opportunities, introduce diverse fields of study and their requirements, and empower students to make informed decisions regarding their educational and professional futures. Weyay’s Head, Amal Al-Duwaisan, highlighted that investing in young people is a core aspect of the bank’s vision. She pointed to the partnership as an extension of Weyay’s commitment to supporting students at critical points in their educational journeys and preparing them for future success.
Dr Jassim Al Ali underscored the significance of providing youth with the necessary knowledge and guidance to make impactful decisions. He expressed optimism that the collaboration would deliver enriching experiences that broaden students’ understanding of academic and career possibilities, helping them to develop clearer and more confident plans for their futures.
The meeting also covered upcoming plans to hold events, workshops, and joint activities across multiple locations within the framework of the “Create Your Future” campaign. These efforts are intended to offer engaging and informative content that assists students in identifying their interests, exploring relevant academic disciplines, and comprehending the educational routes that match their skills and aspirations.
Both Weyay and the Private Universities Council emphasized their dedication to extending their partnership through future initiatives under the campaign, with the shared goal of guiding students throughout their academic paths and enabling them to make decisions that build confident and well-informed futures. This partnership reflects Weyay’s broader strategy to foster meaningful collaborations that positively impact society and develop innovative programs tailored to the needs of young people.
