Global Village is set to open its 31st season on October 14, featuring a range of new attractions and improvements designed to enhance visitors’ experience. The event will showcase 29 pavilions representing over 90 different cultures, alongside more than 3,500 retail outlets.

A newly designed Season 31 Passport will be available for visitors, complemented by a separate Kids Passport tailored for younger attendees. Each pavilion will feature a stamping station, allowing guests to collect stamps as they explore the site.

Several updates have been made to the venue’s aesthetics and infrastructure. The Gardens of the World will return with refreshed design elements, while the Cultural Gate at the entrance has been upgraded with new LED lighting. Additionally, the Sharjah tunnel has been introduced with a new theme.

Food offerings this season have expanded to over 250 dining options, including new additions. The Carnival section includes more than 200 rides and games, with redesigned carts on the Festival Wheel. Later in the season, Global Village plans to introduce Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster featuring sharp turns and a loop, though an exact opening date for this attraction has not yet been announced.

Popular returning attractions such as The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City, and Expo Planet City will also be featured throughout the season. Entertainment will be a key focus, with approximately 40,000 shows scheduled.

To improve visitor flow and reduce congestion, several logistical changes have been implemented. VIP parking users can now pay at new self-service machines before exiting, and additional ticket counters have been established at the Happiness Gate. New directional signs have also been installed in parking areas to facilitate navigation.

With these updates and enhancements, Global Village aims to deliver an expanded and streamlined experience for attendees during its upcoming season.
