The 81-year-old singer underwent a coronary stent operation during what was intended to be his final world tour, prompting a four-week recovery period.

Penny Lancaster, Stewart’s wife, provided a health update, assuring fans that the singer is “back at full speed in his day-to-day activities” but is adhering to medical advice to postpone or cancel performances due to associated risk factors. She explained that Stewart’s live shows are physically demanding, involving nearly two hours of dynamic movement and multiple costume changes, which influenced the doctor’s decision to recommend a break.

Stewart canceled several upcoming appearances, including six shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Despite the interruption, Lancaster emphasized that Stewart is eager to return to the stage and connect with his audience once cleared by his doctors. She noted the strict instructions Stewart has received regarding both his exercise routine and lifestyle during recovery.
