A 30-year-old woman was fatally shot outside a bar in Sheffield in the early hours of Monday, police confirmed. The incident took place in the smoking area of One Four One on West Street. Authorities have identified the victim as a local resident who was enjoying a night out to mark the bank holiday.

Surveillance footage released by police shows security personnel attempting to provide assistance following the shooting. South Yorkshire Police indicated that the woman was an innocent bystander, caught up in the incident without involvement in the conflict.

Ch Supt Jamie Henderson said the police are conducting an intensive investigation and are working "around the clock" to identify all parties connected to the shooting. As part of the inquiry, three individuals have been arrested in relation to the case. Authorities have not released further details regarding the motive or the circumstances leading to the shooting.
