English football enthusiasts and social media personalities Woody and Kleiny recently visited Texas as part of a broader cross-country road trip that combines their passion for soccer with support for local businesses and charitable causes. Their journey, which took place in mid-June 2026, included attending England’s World Cup match against Croatia held on June 21 at Texas Live in Arlington.

The duo, known for their early rise to fame performing soccer tricks on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, described the experience at Texas Live as a highlight of the trip. Kleiny remarked on the atmosphere, noting the large number of English fans created an environment “like being back home,” emphasizing the unifying power of football.

“This has been an amazing opportunity for us to kind of go back to our roots,” Woody said, referring to their longstanding connection to the sport that first brought them public attention. The trip is more than just football-focused; it is also designed to showcase small and medium-sized local businesses. During their time in Dallas, they visited establishments such as the Cactus Queen plant nursery, aiming to explore and share the stories behind these ventures.

Kleiny described this aspect of the trip as “wackifying it,” spending time with business owners to understand their passions and daily operations. The pair’s visits spotlight entrepreneurship and community engagement alongside their football travels.

Additionally, the duo is using the journey as a platform to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer U.K., the country’s largest public funder of prostate cancer research. The partnership was inspired by a personal connection after one of their team member’s fathers was diagnosed with the disease. Woody highlighted their commitment to the cause given how many people are affected by prostate cancer.

As of their latest update, Woody and Kleiny have raised nearly $10,000 toward an ambitious $50,000 fundraising goal. They plan to continue their trip by traveling to Little Rock before heading to the East Coast, following England’s progress throughout the tournament.

Reflecting on their time in Texas, the pair expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality they experienced. Kleiny said the friendliness and generosity of locals will remain with them as they move on to the next stops in their journey. Both indicated a strong desire to return to Texas in the future.
