Sixteen wingsuit pilots representing 10 countries are competing in the 12th World Wingsuit League Championship on Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China. The event, which draws some of the world's most skilled and daring flyers, features athletes launching themselves from Yuhu Peak, a height of 4,783 feet, to begin their descent.

Competitors navigate a course that includes a dramatic plunge of nearly 3,280 feet toward a designated landing zone. In the speed competition, pilots accelerate toward Tianmen Cave, also known as Heaven's Gate, maneuvering through the natural rock arch before executing a sharp turn mid-air. From there, they pass through a gate and bank into a nearby canyon, racing to the finish line.

The championship brings together wingsuit flyers with diverse international backgrounds, all testing their precision, speed, and control in an extreme environment. The weeklong contest is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
