Worthing secured a 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough on Saturday, extending their unbeaten streak to seven matches. Despite conceding the opening goal, Worthing rallied in the second half with two goals inside ten minutes to claim all three points.

Kidderminster controlled much of the first half, creating several scoring opportunities. Lewis Walker had a shot cleared off the line, and Ben Crompton forced a save at the near post before finally breaking the deadlock in the 40th minute. Crompton capitalized on a corner kick, scoring on the rebound after his initial attempt was blocked.

The second half saw Worthing shift momentum. Razz Coleman De-Graft leveled the score in the 58th minute, cutting inside before striking from the edge of the box past the diving Kidderminster goalkeeper Jack Wint. Worthing's goalkeeper Taylor Seymour was instrumental throughout the match, producing a series of crucial saves to keep his team in the game. He denied efforts from Callum Stewart and Walker with impressive reflexes.

The match-winning goal came shortly after, with Cory Adjetey-Brew converting a swift counterattack initiated by substitute Dominic Johnson-Fisher down the right flank. Kidderminster pressed late for an equalizer, but Walker’s header from a corner sailed over the crossbar in the final moments.

Worthing manager Adam Hinshelwood praised Seymour’s performance, acknowledging the goalkeeper’s vital contributions despite some reservations about his ball control. Hinshelwood highlighted the team’s resilience and collective effort, noting their spirit and heart as key factors in overcoming the challenges during the match.

Kidderminster boss Paul Wotton expressed frustration over the missed chances, noting this was the most prolific attacking display since his tenure began. He emphasized the importance of converting opportunities, stating that relying solely on a clean sheet was insufficient.

The match drew an attendance of 2,503 spectators, witnessing a closely contested encounter that ultimately favored Worthing’s late surge and defensive solidity.
